Advice for parents during coronavirus - what to do if your child is unwell or injured
Whilst it is extremely important to follow Government advice to stay at home during this period, it can be confusing to know what to do when your child is unwell or injured.
The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health has issued some advice to help.
They say:
"We understand this is a worrying time for children and their families. Do stay at home and avoid social interactions where possible, and regularly wash your hands.
If your child has a medical condition or injury, they should access treatment and attend medical appointments as recommended by their hospital, GP or healthcare professionals."
